Hen Do

The Tuesday before the wedding, we headed out in the pouring rain, all the best women in my life, to stay in yurts for our Hen Do.

The peaks were at their wettest and most beautiful, as we squeezed around the log burner with an abundance of cake and prosecco. My sister-in-law provided a whole evening of organised fun, and we had a rainy BBQ in the garden.

It was such precious time, and a lovely mixing of school and university friends. The next day, admittedly after no sleep at all, the sun had come out, allowing for a few brave members of the group to go wild swimming in the river.

It was such a treat to spend a whole two days being surprised by my dearest friends. They had put in so much effort behind the scenes, and made such a special few days for us all. When we all said goodbye, with much excitement over the fact that the next time we would see each other would be on the wedding day, I had an overwhelming sense of gratitude to God for blessing me with 14 extra sisters.
